One child. One calling.
I started Serenity in Our One because I could not find the community I was looking for, a space for Christian mothers raising only children, where the conversation was rooted in faith rather than apology.
My son is almost five years old and he is also our one and only. That is not a consolation prize, it is a calling.
I share stories, interviews, and insights that explore life in one-child families while welcoming perspectives from families of every size. My mission is to foster understanding, challenge assumptions, and build a supportive community where parents and caregivers can learn from one another’s experiences.

Growing every day.
My faith is not a backdrop to my parenting, it is the foundation of it. Every decision I make for my son, every boundary I set, every conversation I try to have honestly, flows from a belief that God placed this child in my care on purpose.
I am not a perfect mother. I lose my patience. I second-guess myself. I have cried in the car more times than I can count. But I keep coming back to the Word, to prayer, and to the quiet conviction that this work matters, that raising one child with intention is a holy thing.
